| Our Summer
2009 holiday brochure is now available. Featuring a
mixture of old favourite and exciting new tours, now is the time to
book to ensure the widest range of holiday availability and the best
choice of seats.
Here's a taster of some of
our favourites from our new tours: |
Cultural
Chester Be captivated
by the style and serenity of medieval Chester and the beautiful
surrounding area, on a tour that encompasses some of the county’s
delights.

|
|
Irish Spirit From lush green pastures and quiet
country villages, to rugged coastlines and bustling cities, it’s
easy to understand why the Emerald Isle proves to be a firm
favourite. With this tour there are so many opportunities to explore
the many delights this region has to offer – for example the
picturesque fishing village of Kinsale, and the historic Cobh
Heritage Centre from where over 2.5 million adults and children
emigrated between 1848-1950.

The isles of Mull & Iona The Isle of
Mull is the third largest of the islands in the Hebrides. It is a
wild, mountainous and incredibly beautiful island, and the rich
fauna and flora has created a diverse habitat for wildlife. We visit
the tiny offshore island of Iona, an historic place of pilgrimage
and home to the imposing 15th century abbey.
 |
| It's not just Britain that you can
explore on a Bowens holiday in 2009. Our continental programme
is larger than ever with almost forty tours, including ten brand new
holidays. With many of these tours using our luxurious Royal
Class Elite coaches you can travel across Europe in style and
comfort. |
Valkenburg
The picturesque Dutch town of
Valkenburg is centred at the "crossroads" of Europe, close to the
borders of both Germany and Belgium. Although mainly flat, Holland
can surprise – in the south of the Province of Limburg, the scenery
changes to fertile valleys and rolling hills often referred to as
the "Dutch Alps". Valkenburg, with its magnificent ancient castle
ruins, is one of Holland's most popular resorts with its quaint old
streets, subterranean caves and a chairlift that takes you for
amazing views over the town.

|
Salzburg & Lake Bled
Grab your
camera! Don't miss your chance to join us on this fabulous two
centred holiday that is full of glorious scenery and historical
interest. Salzburg, known for its baroque architecture and Alpine
setting, was the birthplace of the composer Mozart and was also the
setting for the film musical The Sound of Music. Bled, set against
the stunning backdrop of the Julian Alps, is an enchanting oasis.
Its crystal blue lake and fairytale castle create an atmosphere of
true wonder.
